Memorial weekend

Busy busy weekend! We finally finished our forever long yard project. Last summer we started digging out our garden and put in a sunken patio fire pit area. It was A LOT of digging! We also started taking out our lava rock to replace with bark. So both of those got finished, hurray!
We hiked Tubbs Hill in CDA with our neighbors and went to Gooeys for dessert after. The boys went for a polar plunge in the lake...yikes!
Bowen and I spent some time building Legos. He always builds such creative things.
Kevin slept in the backyard with the kids in the tent, while I drugged myself for horrible allergies and slept with three pillows and my humidifier. We had a great weekend spending lots of time together and enjoyed a lot of s'mores! The weekend came to an end with a low country boil at the lake with friends. Good Times:)
