Kevin had the pleasure of organizing a road trip for his deacons quorum to Salt Lake City and watch the priesthood session of conference. Yes, this was HIS idea and he happily did it by his own free will. They left at 4:00 Friday afternoon and arrived at 2:00 am. They had a busy schedule... a private tour of the Church History Museum by Kevin's lifelong friend Allen Morrell who has his PHd in early church history. They were able to see some amazing things in the church archives like original manuscripts from Joseph Smith. They took tours of Temple Square, saw the Joseph Smith movie, attended Priesthood session and finished the day at Rodicio Grill for dinner. It was an amazing trip for all and had many testimony building experiences. This was a once in a lifetime chance for some of these kids. Kevin had a great time and was so moved by the whole experience and the way it all fell into place. It was exciting to hear of the moments that really captured the boys attention and made them think about their own lives and really feel the spirit. It was a very emotional (meaning spiritual) experience for Kevin with the planning and execution. Great memories were made and testimonies built.

How cool! I'm sure that meant so much to the young men.
Those boys are so blessed to have Kevin in there! What an amazing opportunity.
