This fall we started in to a BIG yard project. 1st of all cleaning out all the red rock from our flower beds. This was a much bigger project than anticipated. We learned that a shop vac works really well.
And 2: The Big Dig. We decided that our garden space wasn't working out so well. It is now in the process of a great transformation. We have spent several
saturdays digging, leveling, digging. It's one of those projects where you work all day and don't feel like your results are very noticeable. Kevin had a great time renting a mini excavator. Any mans dream toy for a day!
Unfortunately, after all our hard work we will continue in the spring. Did I mention it's going to be a big patio with a fire pit? It will be awesome... when its done.
