We had a vampire, 2 witches and a frog this year ( I left the red eyes, thought it fit since it was halloween!)
We made "bug soup" and served it out of skulls (bread bowls) Campbell even pointed out as she was taking out the center of the bread that it was like pulling the brains out. Gross!
Bea and I helped out in Campbell's 1st grade class this year. Bea loved being with the big kids. It was a great year for trick or treating. Nice weather and no snow! Bowen was thrilled about gathering as much candy as possible so he could get money for our local dentists buy back program. The kids get payed a $1 for every pound of candy. The girls went out for a while but then got cold. They actually had more fun handing out candy.
