Bowen was baptized July 9, 2011. We was so excited to have all his Beykirch cousin's there. A friend had told me that she always fasts for her child being baptized right before the special day. I loved this idea, and was so grateful for the spirit that present at his baptism. Bowen shared his baptism with one other little girl from the stake. He asked his Grandma Jeanie to give the opening prayer, Grandma Nancy to lead the music, Kerry to play piano, Draney girls sang a song while Mikenna accompanied on the piano, I gave the spotlight and his dad baptized and confirmed him. I am so grateful to have a worthy husband who holds the priesthood and is able to baptize our children. It's amazing to watch a young child at eight years old start to change and progress to this moment in their lives. Bowen was so excited to be baptized and become of member of our church. It was fun to have him express his excitement for this day.

The highlight was this giant Kit Kat his piano teacher gave him.

Favorite scripture story is the Stripling Warriors

Bowen was very aware of who was there to share his special day with him. Besides the Beykirch family he shared it with Brandon, Jenica and their family, Grandma Jeanie, Jon Julee and Maddie, and a few family friends from our ward.
Bowen, we love you and are so proud of your choice to be baptized. We are so grateful to have you fun personality and energy in our family. Your the best eight year old we have in our family!
