The Cabin

We spent a few days at my Uncle's cabin in Sandpoint this summer. We had so much fun with Grandma Jeanie and my brother Brandon and his family. It's so great up there, you don't get cell phone reception which is good and bad sometimes. There isn't TV except for movies, but we didn't tell the kids that. We convinced them the TV that was hidden under a blanket was broken. It's absolutely gorgeous!
The boys spent hours "hunting"
We took lots of walks

played lots of games...
Spent hours building dams and moving rocks, creating our own paths for the tubes

Found lots of rocks...

Ate lots of marshmallows...
had lots of fires...

jumped on the trampoline..

I love that you are literally steps to the river....

This is one of my favorite places to be and now is one of my kids favorites too! The only bad thing about this trip is that my family all ended up with the stomach flu. Some of us had while we were there and others after we got home. It can't be a family gathering without someone getting sick:)
